Our Shepherd's Hut
Based on our family farm
Set amongst evergreen trees and backing onto endless meadows, our shepherd's hut is the latest addition to our group of homestays on Britcher Farm, Egerton. Sleeping up to two people, the hut boasts a cosy sofabed, fridge, log-burner, table and chairs, wooden decking and seating overlooking sheep and cow fields. There's also a full private bathroom situated just a few short steps away, with a recently renovated toilet and electric shower.
What a stay in our Shepherd's Hut includes
Guests can park in one of our secure parking spaces, before making the short stroll through our apple orchard and wildflower gardens, to the hut itself. Although next-door to our farmhouse, the hut has its own area, and is very private - with private, outdoor decking and a brand new bathroom all to yourself.
Stays at our Shepherd's Hut include a complimentary continental breakfast, which can be served outside on the decking or inside the hut. The hut has a comfortable, double sofa-bed, fridge, log-burner, table, chairs, and kettle for teas and coffees. For dinner, there are local pubs nearby both within walking, cycling or driving distance - we'll provide you with our best recommendations.
